MINORITY CHRISTIAN WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS NETWORK
WE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY!
Women of color account for 47% or 5,824,300 of all women-owned businesses, employ 2,230,600 people, and generate $386.6 billion in revenues.
Yet, the average revenue for a women-of-color owned business is $66,400, compared to the average revenue of $212,300 for a non-minority owned business.
The disparities have to change!
The Minority Christian Women Entrepreneurs Network (MCWEN) is a thriving community for Christian women of color who have an interest in entrepreneurship and business ownership. Using the Proverbs 31 woman as a model, MCWEN seeks to support women to become impactful and positively influential in their homes, community, and at work. For us, it's not just business as usual.
15 She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. 18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

CEO of Percipi
Naomie Pierre-Louis is a strategic communications executive challenging the threat of single stories that often cripple the progress of individuals, communities, and nations. Her global outlook and ability to pivot in times of crisis has led her to support diverse communications portfolios covering
federal and international clients. She advises, coordinates, and executes the full array of sensitive and complex communication matters of varying scopes. Her focus includes public relations, public affairs, crisis management, reputation management, speech writing, and project management. She has supported several projects for the diplomatic community and federal government including the White House, Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Army, Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She has also supported congressional campaigns, global humanitarian efforts, and cultural initiatives.
In 2020, Naomie launched Percipi, a strategic communications and public relations firm supporting clients in the private and public sectors in leading their narratives and protecting their reputations. She believes that partial narratives create misperceptions that often cripple our progress as a society. "Percipi is not your typical PR agency, we operate from a place of
advocacy, empathy, intelligence, and inclusive representation. We challenge single stories and the status quo. We inspire change in our communities, the nation, and the world. Percipi was founded on the notion that narratives create realities and that people don’t want their stories told by anyone else but themselves. So, we created a platform to help clients tell their stories the
right way, at the right time. We take an active role in creating opportunities that ensure narratives are being led by our clients, rather than for them."
Naomie received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology. She earned a Master of Arts in Global Politics and Public Administration from Regent University's School of Government. She continued on to receiving a Certificate in Strategic Communications and Global Leadership from the
Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in Moscow. She is currently working towards a certificate in Global Diplomacy in the Modern World from the SOAS University of London.
