I am a member. How do I register for events?

Accepted Answer

Starting in September 2023, members no longer need a membership code to use benefits. All fees are automatically waived using your account. Now, you can log in to the website using the login button at the top right corner, navigate to the Events page, click on "buy tickets", and you will notice that all benefits are automatically deducted. See below for screenshot.

To track your other benefits, simply click on my account (top right corner of the page), and explore the benefits area.

If there is no local meetup in my area, what is the benefit of joining MCWEN?

While our local meetups are a meaningful part of the MCWEN experience, membership offers value that extends far beyond in-person gatherings. Members gain access to a growing community of faith-driven women entrepreneurs, ongoing resources, networking opportunities, and content designed to support both personal and professional growth.

Many of our members connect through our newsletters, online community, and virtual events and webinars throughout the year. In addition, membership provides visibility through features, collaborations, and partnerships within the network.

And as MCWEN continues to grow, new chapters are added regularly—so joining now allows you to be part of the community and even help bring a future meetup to your area.

Do I have to be a member of MCWEN to participate in programming?

No, you do not have to be a member of MCWEN to participate in programming. However, becoming a member is much more cost-effective. For example, the benefits included in our lowest level of membership are valued at $720. That's over 75% in discounts, and the higher the membership level, the more benefits you receive!

Do I need to be a minority to join MCWEN?

No, you do not need to be a minority to join the Minority Christian Women Entrepreneurs Network (MCWEN). While our focus is on supporting and empowering minority Christian women entrepreneurs, we welcome all individuals who align with our mission of fostering community, growth, and collaboration. We believe in the power of diverse voices and perspectives, and our community is enriched by members from all backgrounds who share a passion for entrepreneurship, faith, and service. If you’re committed to supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering an inclusive, empowering environment, we’d love for you to be a part of MCWEN!

Is membership automatically renewed?

Accepted Answer

No, membership is not automatically renewed. After completing their profile, a member may change their settings to automatically renew. Otherwise, nearing the end of the membership period, the member will receive a message reminder that they are due for renewal, and can manually renew at that time.

Can membership be paid in monthly installments?

Accepted Answer

Yes, memberships can be paid in monthly installments. For most users, you will see several options at checkout that include PayPal Pay Later and Affirm. We are currently also in the works of setting up additional platforms for payment options.

What discounts are available for membership?

Accepted Answer

We offer two discount options: student and military. If you are a current student, or military member (active or non-active), you are eligible for up to 35% off any level of membership. To redeem, email mcwenetwork@gmail.com.
