Becoming A Kingdompreneur: The Journey of Following God's Plan in Business

By: Judy Carasco

The Beginning:

I always knew that God wanted to use me as an entrepreneur, and as an ambassador for His

kingdom on this earth. The assignment that God has on my life also came with a mix of

emotions. I was often accompanied by fear and doubt that maybe I’m not good enough. I would tell myself that maybe God can use somebody else because I don’t look like the “gurus”. I had to face that fear and doubt head on, and that’s when I started to thrive.

It took some time to get here because I had to get out of my own way, and I had to put specific things in place in order to no longer allow those emotions to stop me. I hope through this chapter it will give you clarity, strategy, and it will light a fire in your heart to continue walking the journey of entrepreneurship because you are called, and you are chosen for such a time as this.

The Lessons: 3 things you MUST remember on order to thrive

1. Trust God. This is a major lesson because in today’s society a lot of people trust in

themselves. They believe that they’re the reason they’re successful, and they’re the ones that can take themselves to the next level. I had to really think about this and realize that if you don’t trust God, how can you actually trust the vision? Let’s think about this for a second. Trusting the God of the universe and the vision that He placed in you is a big deal. One of the main lessons when it comes to trusting in God is no matter what it looks like you have to continue to believe what He said when you first started. No matter how long it may take you know that it shall come to pass, just as He said.

2. Stop sharing! I’m going to be real with you, sis, everybody does not want to see you win.

There are times where you can ask someone for wise counsel or advice, but one of the main

lessons again that I’ve learned on this journey to entrepreneurship is you cannot share the

vision, the mission and the plan with just anyone. I had to learn to keep my mouth shut, and I learned it the hard way.

I remember having a dream specifically about my next move and business a couple of years ago. The moment I opened my mouth and told someone who I thought was a friend, that deal fell through. Now if I didn’t tell anyone and kept it to myself, even if the deal didn’t fall through it would’ve saved me the embarrassment. I came to realize there is a thin line between a friend in an enemy. Sometimes those friends are enemies in disguises, and you have to ask God for clarity and for him to show you the person's heart. So again, I highly suggest that you stop talking about your dreams and visions to everyone. God gave them to you for a reason. If he does not reveal to you who you should share it with, sis. Keep your mouth shut.

3. Check your environment. The environments that we are in can make or break us. It’s just

like gardening. If the “soil “ is full of nutrients, then the environment for that plant will be nutrient rich and will produce foods that are healthy abundant. Now, apply this thinking to your life. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically your environment is shaping you. The lesson in this is to take an audit of the environment that you are in.

The Win: When it All Changed

Everything started to change once I stopped living in fear and doubt. I began to believe

everything that God said about me and I trusted His plan. It was at that moment when I decided to be obedient and started a women’s conference in March 2021. God showed me that I would be used to help women who are going through life broken, yet full of potential. The brokenness became a part of their lives and seemed to be normal for them. It was at that conference that I began to win! Women came to me crying about how God used me to help them get their freedom and break through! I was blown away from their testimonies.

I realized that my purpose is bigger than just making money. I’m not here to show off cars, houses, and bags. I’m here to show you how you can do it to with God as your CEO. Once I came to the realization of this ; I began to win!

Winner's Tips:

1. Get laser focused and clear about your vision and goals.

2. Get rid of all distractions, people, and things

3. Starve procrastination, and get things done swiftly. Don’t wait for tomorrow.

4. Sacrifice today so you can rejoice tomorrow. Leave Netflix alone for a season and get to

work! I promise you’ll be glad you did.

5. Surround yourself with like minded people! The saying "If there are 5 millionaires, then you’ll be the sixth “ is so true. Those closest to you will shape your journey, so be careful.

6. Be fearless, because you've got this sis. If many women before can do it, so can you!
