The Mid-Year Check-In Faith-Driven Women Shouldn't Skip

By mid-year, most women in business are tired. Not because they’ve failed, but because they’ve been faithful.
This is the point where effort has been extended, decisions have been made, and results may—or may not—be visible yet. For women leading with faith, this is a critical moment.
Not to quit. Not to grind harder. But to check in.
Assess Alignment, Not Just Outcomes
If you are a faith-led woman leading a business, an effective assessment starts with asking different questions:
Am I still aligned with the vision I started the year with?
Have my priorities shifted without my permission?
Is my time reflecting my values—or reacting to pressure?
This is not about judgment. It’s about awareness.
Revisit What Obedience Looks Like Now
What obedience required in January may not be what it requires now. Sometimes obedience mid-year looks like:
Refining instead of expanding
Letting go of what’s no longer effective
Rebuilding systems that can support the next level
Faith allows for adjustment without guilt.
Check Your Capacity Honestly
Mid-year is an appropriate time to ask:
What’s sustainable for me right now?
What support do I need that I didn’t anticipate?
Where am I pushing out of fear instead of trust?
Faith doesn’t ask you to ignore capacity. It asks you to steward it well.
Recommit—With Wisdom
As you think through the first half of your year, remember that a mid-year check-in isn’t about starting over, it’s about recommitting with clarity, discernment, and confidence that God is present not just in the vision, but in the process.
