Finding Strength in the Middle

Thriving through each season takes time—time in prayer, accountability, honesty, and
reflection. Allow yourself to see not only where you fell short but also where you have
not failed. Recognize where you can grow, and acknowledge your need for help. Often,
life moves at such a fast pace that we skip these vital steps, only to find ourselves in the
same situation—stuck in the middle of similar outcomes.
Without a clear sense of where you are, it’s easy to overlook how you arrived there. I
must admit, unless the Lord is helping you build, your results won’t last. There is
something powerful about keeping your heart aligned with God’s guidance. He has
given us the Holy Spirit to help us. The real question is: Do we rely on Him—or on
ourselves and others?
When you learn to admit your weaknesses, you open the door to a strength you didn’t
know you could experience—strength that comes from relying on God. This requires
practicing His Presence and acknowledging Him in all your ways so He can make your
paths straight. It also means learning from what didn’t work before and choosing not to
repeat those same patterns.
Think of it this way: if you were hungry, you’d look for food; if you were thirsty, you’d
search for water. Let’s depend on God with the same urgency and trust. Instead of
remaining stuck in the middle of chaos, place God there—and keep Him there. You’ll be
amazed at how He can take what’s wrong and make it right. He can open your
understanding, spark creative ideas, and surround you with a supportive team that
helps you thrive.
Do not settle. Do not keep building on sinking sand. Build on the foundation that lasts.
When you allow God to equip you for every project, meeting, and challenge, you gain a
peace that sustains you.
If you find yourself in the middle of uncertainty—facing difficult decisions, unrest, or
overwhelming responsibilities—turn it all over to Jesus. I’m learning to lean on Him in
greater ways than ever before. When we admit our need for change, we must also allow
ourselves to do things differently. Sometimes that means letting go—of habits, burdens,
or even unforgiveness toward ourselves or others. Don’t stay trapped in the mindset
that there’s no way out. God always provides a way when we surrender it all to Him.
My prayer for you today is that you’ll take a quiet moment with the Lord to be honest
about where you are and how much you need Him. May you experience true surrender
and renewed commitment to give everything to Jesus. Choose today to put Him in the
middle—and let Him be Lord of all.
